An introduction to my writing
My writing career began with the publication of Counting the Days to Armageddon, the story of how Jehovah's Witnesses developed from within a small group of disillusioned Adventists who had expected the second coming of Christ in the mid-nineteenth century.
I had intended to follow Counting the Days with a book about Christian belief but before that was half way through, my writing took a different turn. My debut novel, Bunderlin, came out in 2010 and I'll be re-publishing it as an e-book very soon.
Before Bunderlin starts popping up on ebook readers, however, my new novel Walking away from Gilead will be released. Gilead picks up a theme which I began with as a writer - fundamentalist Christian belief. It tells the stories of two women who struggle to break free from the authoritarian religious movement in which they grew up. And it's due to be published as an e-book this autumn.
So I invite you to read a little about my books on this website.
